Since 2021, Chen Wang has been actively involved in a wide range of musical activities in the Seattle area, including performances and competitions. His extensive participation in many renowned ensembles and orchestras highlights his versatility and dedication as a musician. Notably, Chen has served as the principal saxophonist for the prestigious Seattle Wind Symphony since the 2021 season, making significant contributions to the ensemble.

In addition, Chen is a co-founder of the Pattern Saxophone Ensemble, known for its innovative and dynamic performances. Despite being established only a year ago, this ensemble has already performed in over ten concerts, frequently offering high-quality, affordable concerts to the community.

Chen has also been involved with the Seattle Northwest Chamber Chorus, celebrated for its rich choral traditions. Furthermore, he distinguished himself through a competitive selection process to collaborate with the UW Symphony Orchestra, where he performed the saxophone solo in the orchestration of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, arranged by Ravel, to widespread acclaim.
